PCR Ready DNA in 4 Minutes or Less
The Akonni TruTip DNA Kits deliver inhibitor-free, PCR-ready DNA in as few as four minutes. Accommodating sample volumes that range from 100 μl to 1 ml or greater, significant concentration of nucleic acid, on the order of 5- to 10-fold, can be achieved.
The kits come in two configurations: select SPT tips for less viscous or LPT tips for more viscous samples. Kits are available in a 2-ml format to accommodate larger samples and a 1-ml format that is compatible with multichannel pipettes. This product does not require major capital equipment, service contracts, labor intensive processes, or hazardous organic extractions. TruTips can process a wide range of sample sources (blood, culture, sputum, urine, etc.), sample viscosities (thick or thin), and types (bacterial microbes or viral pathogens).
