PCR Ready DNA in 4 Minutes or Less
The Akonni TruTip RNA Kits deliver inhibitor-free, PCR-ready RNA in as few as four minutes. Accommodating sample volumes that range from 100 μl to 1 ml or greater, significant concentration of nucleic acid, on the order of 5- to 10-fold, can be achieved.
The kits come in two configurations: select SPT tips for less viscous or LPT tips for more viscous samples. Kits are available in a 2-ml format to accommodate larger samples and a 1-ml format that is compatible with multichannel pipettes. This product does not require major capital equipment, service contracts, labor intensive processes, or hazardous organic extractions. TruTips can process a wide range of sample sources (blood, culture, sputum, urine, etc.), sample viscosities (thick or thin), and types (total RNA including genomic, mitochondrial or viral). TruTip RNA kits are optimized for RNA extractions, but may also be used for DNA extractions.
